An equally important factor for our success is our volunteers. To maximize our payouts to our barrel racers, the volunteers have been our blessing. Of key importance to barrel racers is the ground and we had the best ground experts and tractor operators. Thanks so much to Dave Elliott, Murray McGonigle, Dana Walker and Larry Sears. Thank you to Dwight Murray for controlling the gate to insure our safety.
Our entry help were fast and efficient; we are so grateful for the help of Nadine Adie, Ginger Bestplug, Robbin Jacobson, Aurea Munroe, and Nikki Porter that played double duty as our announcer. Our computer help, Nora Van Tripp for getting us out of computer glitches, Brenda Jensen and Aurea Munroe. Our barrel markers and setters Yvonne Krause, Louise Houben, Lori Wavercan, Elaine Watt, Caroline Heffernon, and Shannon Kingsmith, plus anyone else that offered a hand in any way, we appreciate your help.
Raising Sponsorship was a significant task and we raised over $11,000.00 paid out in our series and the Whiteside Benefit. Thank you to Greg Wilkie, Darrell Duce, Yvonne Krause, & Michelle Morrisette for their help.
Our Finals on Sunday March 13 ,2005 paid out slightly under $10,000.00!!! |
